Function is key when designing a space so I am loving the tiny drink table trend as another way to accessorize and to add personality to rooms with something useful and beautiful.  These multi-purpose tables take up little real estate and are the perfect size table to place next to a favorite sitting spot to hold a snack and drink. They also provide additional space for holding tidbits or cocktails when entertaining.  Another great feature is that they are so light that they can be easily picked up and moved around to other spaces in a room or to another room.

These occasional tables could also be used alongside chairs, sofa beds and bathtubs to hold a cocktail glass, bud vase, book, decorative object or even a smartphone. There are so many options in material to choose from as well: acrylic, marble, wood, iron and concrete to name a few. The one in this photo has an agate top with a metal base and looks great in this corner of my family room. Corners of a room can be tricky to decorate. I ran into this problem with a corner in my master bedroom.

There’s something to be said about having a small table always within reach and the comfort and ease it provides. The tiny drink table trend will beckon your guests to relax and stay awhile.
