2025 Paint Colors of the Year

More color is everywhere in general. From warmer tones (earthy tones and soft neutrals as seen in Sherwin Williams 2025 Color Capsule) to rich, saturated colors. Nature-inspired tones that add warmth and feel grounded, soothing and timeless are in focus. The all black and white trend has become a cookie-cutter approach and we are going to see softer, more refined accents used for exteriors, paint colors, plumbing, hardware and lighting (not just black!). Rich colors (like burgundy and purple mixed with brown - Cinnamon Slate by Benjamin Moore, Rumors by Behr, or a deep blue) are expected to be used for a bold look rather than edgy black.

Space planning is an essential step in the interior design process, which is not just selection of color palettes and furniture and decor. Space planning ensures the functionality of the space is maximized. Traffic flows are determined, furniture proportions are defined, creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing!
