Now that a lot of us are working at home more, I thought I would share some of my favorite home office essentials that I like to have to make the office space pretty, comfortable and a bit luxe!

Besides the obvious items needed in a home office like a desk, good lighting and whatever equipment you need like printers or office supplies, below are some home office essentials that are functional yet can also be beautiful.

1.) Rug – A rug is soft under foot and will cozy up the space and add color to the room. Just make sure that the pile is low if you have a rolling office chair.

2.) Greenery – Plants will liven up the space and also add a pop of color.

3.) Monitor stand – This is more on the functional side to raise your device to eye level, but why not choose a pretty one with a luxe material such as acrylic? Keeping your device at eye level will prevent neck strain.

4.) Noise cancelling headphones – Absolutely necessary if you have other people in the home while you are trying to work.  Whether it be other household members or someone working on your house.  Find some that coordinate with your office décor, like these black and gold Beats!

5.) A non-officey office chair – A comfortable chair that looks beautiful too will make the endless hours of sitting more enjoyable and put less stress on your back!

6.) Something to make you smile – Candles, fun stickers, clips, or funny pencils help distract you from work for a bit for some work-life balance.
